One such area generally, difficult to run professionally by charitable institutes is the pathology Lab which requires continuous upgradation with highly qualified and experienced medical staff, which a charitable organization cannot sustain and hence slips in to lethargic service and poor quality investigations. Even mice have set up some standards for pathology labs. The National Accreditation Boards for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) under Department of Science and Technology, the Government of India has set stringent norms for labs and granted accreditation to a few labs which have satisfied their standards. For a Pathology Lab to be run by a Charitable organization, fulfillment of ISO & NABL norms standards just can be distant dream. Our trust has managed to provide ISO / NABL report to the patients. This is unique facility amongst Charitable Diagnostic Centers.
